This beautiful hand-painted bowl is undoubtedly one of the outstanding MEISSEN® "Limited Masterpieces".
While the peony is a small work of art in itself, it is wonderfully accentuated here on this bowl. Among the "queens of all flowers", the peony is of very special beauty. Every spring, the peony blooms in its various shapes and colors. As if by chance, the blossoms of these messengers of spring are hand-painted here in powdery shades of red, rose and white by porcelain painter Michaela Hummitzsch on the bowl. The bowl itself is an example of the highest craftsmanship and quality from the hands of freelance porcelain artist Bärbel Thoelke, whose artwork is often surrounded by something poetic.
